Duplicate an event
An event can have a single location and multiple time slots.
For a touring show or an annual event, we offer a duplication feature that allows you to create a new event based on a previous one. This eliminates the need for copy-pasting.
For a show tour, you can create an initial event for the first location and then duplicate it for each subsequent location.
For a recurring event, such as a trade show, simply duplicate the event from the previous edition, correct the relevant information, and then confirm.
Please note that this duplication feature only opens a pre-filled event form, and the different event entries are not linked. For example, if you modify the description for event A, event B will not be affected. Each event entry is independent.
Another word of caution: do you really want to duplicate? For example, the same event can appear on multiple calendars. By clicking the "add to another agenda" button, you can share the same event across several calendars, avoiding the need to create duplicates. You can also add time slots to an existing event, even a past one, rather than creating a new one.
The duplicate function is available in two places:
1) After the input form, on the registration confirmation page.

2) On your event page, click Other actions, then Duplicate. To find a previously entered event, click here.

Next, choose the agenda in which to create the new event. You can choose from the calendars of which you are a member.

Finally, the event creation form appears, pre-filled with the initial event information. You can now make corrections if needed, add the new times, and then save.
